Harmony Week 2022

Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, who are united by a set of core Australian values. It is a time to celebrate Australian multiculturalism and the children spent time in class activities discussing the countries and cultures of their families. At BGMS everyone belongs and, for our whole school activity, children drew themselves on a jigsaw piece which was used to make a whole school jigsaw. This beautiful collective artwork showed how we are all individual and together we make a big, special learning community.  Given COVID-19 pressure, celebrations this year were low key and restricted to staff and students.
