Happy 154th Birthday to Maria Montessori

On Friday 30 August we wished an early Buon Compleanno, or Happy Birthday, to Dr. Maria Montessori!

To start off the day, our Year Six Leaders presented the Food Drive donations to Jo from the Yangebup Family Centre. Thank you to the Blue Gum community for coming together and donating a massive number of bags of food to families in need and well done to our Year Six Leaders for coordinating the event.

In the afternoon, students across the School celebrated with a scoop of gelato, which they enjoyed in the nice, sunny weather.Thank you to our fantastic Year Six Leaders for serving up the sweet treats.
