ANZAC Day Youth Parade and School Ceremony

Blue Gum Montessori Year 6 Leaders were honoured to attend the City of Cockburn’s ANZAC Day Youth Parade last week, where they laid a wreath in respect of fallen servicemen and women. Later in the week, Blue Gum Montessori students participate in a whole school ANZAC ceremony, led by our Year 6 Leaders and supported by evocative violin renditions of the Last Post by our Performing Arts Teacher Adrian.

Selected Blue Gum Montessori Upper Primary students displayed their artwork, alongside the works of students from five other local schools, at the ANZAC Day Showcase in the Hamilton Hill Memorial Hall.
