STEAM and LOTE Assembly
Our STEAM and LOTE Specialist Assembly was a wonderful display of student endeavours.
Students enjoyed showing their STEAM projects to parents, family and friends. These projects included wind turbines, bridges, houses from the Three Little Pigs and games of their own invention. Those who didn’t get the chance to have a look didn’t miss out, however, as students from all three Cycles gave short Assembly presentations on what they have learned this year.
We then enjoyed performances from our Chinese LOTE students who performed scripted conversations and sang nursery rhymes and other children’s songs in Mandarin. We were introduced to some brand new songs, learnt some new words and participated in translated classics such as Head, Shoulders Knees and Toes.
Thank you to all of the parents, family and friends who came along to support and learn, and thank you to our STEAM and LOTE teachers for their hard work both preparing for this Assembly and throughout the School year. Well done to our students for all of their hard work and their fantastic presentations and thank you to the Choir for their lovely performance.
