STEAM Showcase and LOTE Assembly

Friday 28 July was a fantastic display of the best that Blue Gum has to offer. Parents, family and staff enjoyed a STEAM Showcase where they were able to see first-hand what the children have been learning in STEAM this Term. This included maps of Australia, ecological patterns, and even some dioramas of the nearby Bibra Lake Wetlands. Many thanks to Louise Blaxell for coordinating the impressive STEAM Showcase.

We then enjoyed performances from our LOTE students who performed scripted conversations and sang nursery rhymes and other children’s songs in French and Mandarin. We were even treated to an impromptu performance from departing French teacher André Dumolard and all of the French students from Year 1 to Year 6.
